everbuddy naked

If everybody were naked
Nobody could make fun of my style
I would never be outdated.
I could go to parties with a smile.

Also when I live naked
Laundry bill can never go high.
I go jump into the shower
Suddenly I am a clean living guy.

Of course your clothing
Never gets sunburned
And nobody laughs at your zipper.
If you are the only
Person who’s naked
You look like a mescaline tripper.

But if everyone got naked
We might do away with all war
Because there would be little
That seems worth arguing for.

With all the women naked
There would be an end to their hose.
And girdles out of the question.
They’d be as natural as a spring rose.

But one must be careful.
A park bench can pinch
And hot car seats can burn.
Living nude has problems
But like everything else
It just more lessons one must learn.

But think about politics naked;
All those liars up on a public stage.
Without their expensive suits
Would they still manage to engage?

Olympians played naked.
Soldiers used to fight naked too.
Not sure what point I am making
But I think it means something, don’t you?

      Yes. I am a lifelong nudist and have started a couple of clubs over the years. I always make sure everyone knows I am a nudist so when they drop by and catch me bareassed they are not EMbareassed. Also, I make sure all nudists know they are welcome to be nude in my house.

    I actually believe it is oppression. It is a whole worldwide society telling me my body is ugly. So, I work in my small way to refute that stance: poetry on three blogs and even on a fourth one on Facebook. I write poetry for an online ‘zine called The Blue Route on Facebook. So, both of us are doing our bit. If you go back to my blog, you will find a couple of more poems about nudity. Thanks for the great feedback.

        I see you too are a leader in this battle with propriety. I am glad you live the nude life I never found. But, even today, it is hard for single men to fit into a nudist community, so I do it at home. You are very lucky.

        Pedophiles wouldn’t stand a chance at a nudist resort or nude beach. They would be spotted so, so quickly. I don’t like that phrasing “Not all nudists are child molesters”. It implies that some of us are. That is very offensive!

        I very much like your poem though! Now if someone could put some music to that, it would be great!

        I very much agree. But, the sad thing is that so many people use that pedo thing as an excuse to stay in and to peddle their repression onto themselves and others. It all seems to boil down to people fearing pubes.

        I am so glad you liked my poem. It is one of my attempts to break down that wall.

        Brent: I remember the ‘Not All Nudists Are Child Molesters’ thing, but for the life of me can’t find it. But yes, we do seem to be allies! Love your poetry even though that’s not a major interest to either Angie’s or me (Steve). Yours strikes home on a subject close to our hearts! Will look up the ‘Great Coverup’, just discovered you!

        To ‘nakednewf’: We use satire often on our website(s) and sometimes folks don’t get it. Read a few years’ worth of our articles and it should become clear! 😉 But unfortunately, pedophilia IS a problem with legitimate nudist venues and they work hard to deal with it, perhaps more so than the local church or Scout troop.. True, some pedos are obvious and easily evicted, but others are very sneaky. A prime example is the official camp photographer at Sunsport Gardens who was busted after being caught misbehaving. S**t happens, but it’s not common.

        We will absolutely agree that there is not one single nudist/naturist pedo, simply because by claiming to subscribe to nudist/naturist values one CANNOT be a pedophile any more than a person who claims to be Christian yet doesn’t believe in JC and His resurrection, or a Muslim who doesn’t recognize Muhammad as Allah’s prophet can properly be considered to be of that belief. One can claim to be anything, and even share some of the same interests, but some things aren’t negotiable. Simply enjoying nudity does NOT make one a nudist/naturist!
