CHILDREN ARE LUCKY

CHILDREN ARE LUCKY

CHILDREN ARE LUCKY

Children are lucky
They live a life of joy.
They find happiness
In a broken toy.
How well I remember
Waiting for the ice cream man
Walking on a fence
Kicking a tin can.

These are the simple things
The special things in life
Listening to the radio
A genuine boy scout knife.
I recall Lone Ranger
Riding through the west.
These are the things I love
The things I remember best.

Children are lucky.
They live a life of joy.
They find happiness
In a broken toy.
