PROUD TO BE A REPUBLICAN

It’s the tomorrow I have waited for
My whole Republican life
Ever since I started out
Just a million bucks and a wife.
I thanked all the millionaires
That gave me campaign funds
And from now and for the next few years
The fun has just begun.

I’m proud to be a Republican
In the majority.
‘Cause senators and congressmen
Is the best thing you can be.
If I screw up I blame it on
Anyone but me.
And just mention the fear of God
Then screw the U.S.A.

From the Democrats and Liberals
I’m sure I’ll get some squawks
They’ll want to bring their bleeding hearts
Into all important talks.
But if we meet in closed sessions
In committees stocked with friends.
We’re guaranteed
To have our way
When every session ends.
